Re: Poland 2009

Jarkko, any hope for Prague?
I have my tickets for Berlin and Bratislava, but would love to take my kids (they love LC almost as I do :) ) and as they are quite small, any longer trip is difficult...

Re: And what's with Central and South-Eastern Europe?

Oh well, if not mountain to Muhammad, then Muhammad to mountain, as the saying goes (I think). I personally will go to Berlin to see him (from Prague). And who knows - after this series I'm sure Leonard must be some kind of "holy man" with super-natural sources of energy ;-) (I mean, who else could ...

Re: Which "lesser known" songs do you wish Leonard would play?
No need to tell me, I was lucky enough to hear it at the Beacon ;-)
And I in Prague... :) Though, after Leonard's Prague concert I would have been smiling for a fortnight 24/7 no matter what he'd sang (oh my, what a terrible sequence of tenses, too much for my long-suffering English ...

Re: Leonard Cohen gigs Cologne and Berlin confirmed!
I can't believe my luck. 3rd row center. Yay :) Oh, lucky you :) Well I've just grabbed my tickets now, after I'd persuaded my husband to go with me (and drive from Prague ;-) ), and though they're not so "golden" as yours, they're pretty good, too - 18th row right. Hooray!!! Another ...

Re: Praha, Sept.27-2008

I remember now another little story from the concert. The show almost over, Leonard said: "They told us Prague was a beautiful city, but we didn't know HOW beautiful it was. We won't forget this evening." Of course, the hall went crazy at that. :D I know, it may look as just a phrase, a term of ende...

Third part of tour?!?

Hello, I've been told that there may be a third leg of the tour?!? I suppose that was just wishful thinking on part of my informer, as I so far haven't found that mentioned or even insinuated anywhere. But I'm asking anyway, just in case: Is it possible that it's true?

Re: Petition to include The Partisan (and FBR) :-) in the set

In Prague, Partisan WAS on the songlist, and that was after Bucharest, so there's some hope ;-)
And FBR was one of (probably eight or nine :!: ) encores.

Re: Praha, Sept.27-2008

Well, what more is there to say? I went to see a legend and I left the hall feeling like I've just been part of something out of this world. If I had never heard a single Leonard's song before, I'd be a fan now; as it is, I'm still in shock - pleasant shock - and considering flying over to UK for an...
