Re: To the 2010 World Tour organizers: Cities Wish List

PRAGUE! PRAGUE! PRAGUE! - but anywhere in Czech Republic, or anywhere in Central Europe would be fine... with three small kids I cannot travel too far :( I'm so sad that Bratislava has been cancelled! And Vienna would be great - I missed the first concert there, and would give anything to hear "Take...

Re: LEONARD IS FEELING FINE

Oh my, I've been away from my comp since yesterday, and when I came back - one of the first things I saw in an on-line news service was "LC collapsed onstage" - I almost fainted with shock! So I rushed here to see the latest - Thank God he's okay! And thank all of you, who reassured us frightened fa...

Happy Birthday, Leonard!

Dear Leonard, I spent my youth behind the iron curtain, where „western“ music was rare, so I cannot say that you have been by my side for all my life. Nevertheless, our „first meeting“ must have been arranged by fate: my friend was returning from Poland (where much more good music was available at t...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Prague, August 29

Bridger15, I didn't mean the quotation from Tower of Song, which I recognized, of course - I meant the Priestly Blessing, which I didn't know before, so I thought that these parting words were Leonard's own. So much for our little misunderstanding :)

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Prague, August 29

Thank you, bridger15, for the quotation - I was curious about that - so ancient, so timeless, so poetic. Amazing, how words this old could very easily be Leonard's own - I would be first to believe that it was he who had written them :)

Re: YOUR PHOTOS FOR OUR MOSAIC PROJECT

Afrter long deciding, I have submitted my picture yesterday; Leonard's Prague concert did the trick for me. He played "Gipsy Wife", so I submitted my "Gipsy Wife" photo :) - and here it is for you to see:

CONCERT REPORT - Prague

I'll be short, because I would have to repeat my rave reviews of past concerts. Just a few comments: The atmosphere was great, the audience went with Leonard from beginning to end, listening where theyshould listen, applauding where they should applaud, letting Leonard speak when he wanted to, and m...

Marsha
Oh my, sorry for that - my mistake, of course. Robinson sang "Boogie Street", which is what my comment referred to. Webb Sisters did "If It Be Your Will".
Just three hours of sleep since the concert, you know...

Re: Chelsea Hotel Plaque

Dick, thanks for the great Idea! Just sent 20 dollars for me and my husband. We surely won't be at the unveiling (a bit far from Prague, Czech Republic :( ), but we hope to find every detail here!!! :)

Re: CONCERT REVIEW: Berlin, July 2

They marched up and down the aisles with wines and beers as he sang, talked amongst themselves, clapped and whooped each time they (wrongly) thought a song had ended... really embarrassing. I was so pleased to see him for what is probably the last time in Berlin, but these idiots spoiled it somewha...

Re: CONCERT REVIEW: Berlin, July 2

I've been there, too - I went from Prague, and I can say that the five-plus-four hours' drive, terrible storm near Dresden, traffic jams in Berlin, milky fog on the way back and getting up for work after three hours' sleep - all that was absolutely worth it! I've seen Leonard last year in Prague, an...

Re: TICKET ALLOCATION TO PRAGUE

Oh yes... my sentiments exactly. Sazka Ticket is an cumbersome giant, not suited to selling tickets, BUT as o2 Arena used to be Sazka Arena just a short time ago, all events held there are usually sold just through them (sigh). Just so you all know - they're just selling first rows of "gold" section...

Re: Prague, August 29 - now confirmed

Yes, that Czech server I mentioned before locates the concert to o2 Arena too - which would be better, as the venue is more modern and larger, too.

And, no, Tesla Arena isn´t the same as O2 arena - Tesla Arena is the same venue where the last year's concert was held.
