With Andrea's help, finally got ourselves tickets! Fly from Manchester on the 26th (same flight as Margaret, who we look forward to meeting) and return on the 26th (look forward to catching up with Ken!) and have booked accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Firenze. Looking forward to catching up ...

Re: PRESALE TO VERONA

Can't be sold out, only went on release today and I think it seats around 15000. As you can see from my posts, I had problems with the login. You should persist and maybe contact them if you continue to have problems.

Good luck

Re: PRESALE TO VERONA ACTIVE NOW!!!!!!!

Urgent help.

Trying to buy tickets - but can't login, user name password not valid, despite reissue of password. Am I doing something wrong? It's like watching my life wash away!

Re: The Remarkable Life of Leonard Cohen: new biography (2010)

Finished reading about a week ago. I have enjoyed this thread (Caz, loved the typo quip - I bet you've practiced it a hundred times on your nine year olds?) and followed it with interest. As a slow reader, I'm sorry I missed the discussion at its height. Most people have commented on the number of e...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Gothenburg, Sweden August 12, 2010

Just back from the gig and as good as any of the 10 concerts I've seen since 2008. Firstly, thank you to Eva for organising a pre gig meet up just by the venue and it was good to meet fellow Cohenites from around the world! An added bonus was to get the latest on 'Bird on a wire' and 'songs from the...

[quote="TipperaryAnn"]Burningviolin, Delighted to hear you recorded "Heart with no Companion" - will be looking forward to that; it sounded great on the night with its lively country rhythm. Its presence on Sunday, with Chelsea Hotel, Hey, that's no way to say goodbye, and the recitation of a thousa...

Sturgess, you do the weather forecast also, what can I say! Of course I'm going to enjoy the show. I intend to play live in London all the way to the airport! Sorry I'm not in to tweeting, but if I have time, I will post a report. Keep up the good work ;-)

I don't like the look of that sky - hope it's better tomorrow when I fly out to Ireland for the Sunday gig.
Sturgess 66, thanks for keeping us posted - when do you sleep?

Arlene, where are you? I'm sure we'll catch up in Gothenburg.
