In the album jacket, Cohen dedicates the song to Carl Anderson, who played Judas is Jesus Christ superstar, and passed away before Dear Heather was released. Having lost my father, and a very dear friend in 2005, what I get from Nightingale, is: "though you are singing somewhere still, I can no long...

Leonard Cohen has done it again! :D Dear Heather Is a beautiful CD! The first time I listened to it, I wasn't sure how I felt about a few of the songs. The second time I listened to it, I was reminded of why I am such an avid Leonard Cohen fan. Dear Heather has taken up permanent residency in my CD ...

That is very true, Tekkobra! It really isn't a laughing matter, but strangely amusing. They do manage to find one another. I think most L.C fans will agree that his music is comforting. The meaning is so profound. I think other people find L.C's work depressing because they are not willing to explor...

Hi Tekkobra!

I don't think it makes you a cynic at all.

While reading the little known facts about Leonard Cohen, I was not surprised when I read that particular little known fact. I laughed too!

It's almost something that is extrasensory.

I have had many unfortunate experiences with people who do not appreciate Leonard's music. They simply don't get it. And I don't get why they don't get it! Leonard Cohen's fans are drawn to him. It is like a gravitational pull. I have never met a casual Leonard Cohen fan. People either really like h...

My age is 29.

I've been a fan since the age of 17.

One thing that has become increasingly clear over the years,

is that Leonard Cohen's appeal is timeless and ageless.

Lizzytysh,

Thank you!

I'm not sure whether I'll be able to attend the Hydra gathering, but Berlin sounds very promising!

I'll look further into it.

Glad to see you're well!
