Re: All the JOKES (and nothing else!)

I agree with the last comment regarding those going to see future concerts, to avoid this thread. It is a script of sorts. Those who had the pleasure of attending a concert know that these comments, or some version thereof, are spoken regularly. Why is it necessary to post these remarks and ruin tho...

On Tour Interviews with Leonard

A recent interview with Leonard in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. There is a video offered as well, but the printed version is more detailed than the video presentation. This is from the Maclean's Magazine website.

Re: SO LONG, MARIANNE

I don't believe it is a voice problem. I was lucky enough to catch one of his performances in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and I really enjoyed the new arrangement for Marianne and he sounded great. I know there were some negative comments regarding the new arrangement. Maybe they have just opted to ta...

Re: All YouTube Links

As the 2008 tour of Atlantic Canada winds down, I thought it would be fitting to create a tribute of this amazing event. It serves both as a reminder for those lucky enough to attend one of the performances, and gives others a glimpse of the brilliance presented. The presentation features only very ...

Re: Moncton, NB (May 23)

Moncton, you are in for a very special night. I attended the May 21 performance in Cape Breton. I wish I could be there tonight to see it again. It was easily the best concert I've ever attended. Again, you are in for a very special night. Enjoy.

Re: Two concerts in Glace Bay, Cape Breton (May 20 and 21)

We are so pleased that Mr. Cohen and his management have decided to include Cape Breton Island on his tour. It will be two more magical nights at the beautiful Savoy Theatre. For those coming from away, I have included a link for those that are interested in viewing the scenery of our beautiful Isla...

Cohen one night and Dylan the next .. I bet there are not many that will be able to claim that honour.
I wonder if they will hook up in Newfoundland next week?

Re: Five Concerts in Halifax (May 12 to 17)

Speaking of Bob Dylan, there is some speculation in this part of the world (Atlantic Canada where the small theatre shows are now taking place), that there may possibly be a Cohen/Dylan meeting on or around May 24. Both artists are touring and will be in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada at the same ...

Re: Five Concerts in Halifax (May 12 to 17)

Everybody knows ... I feel very fortunate to be attending the concert on May 21 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. To see Cohen perform is one thing, but to have the pleasure of seeing a performance in such an intimate setting as the beautiful Savoy Theatre - an 800 seat theatre - will truly be an amazing...

Re: Leonard Cohen: TOUR 2008

I can't believe it ... I have 2 center tickets ... 4 rows from stage ... in a 900 seat theatre .... to see Leonard Cohen ... I feel so fortunate .... May 21, Savoy Theatre, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on beautiful Cape Breton Island. I am so glad he is doing this tour of Eastern Canada to prepare for his...
