Re: petition for U.S. dates?
Why should a man who was largely ignored in America bother his barney playing there. Because he has a lot of loyal fans here who have not ignored him. Mainstream America's failure to catch onto his brilliant work has not stopped him from touring here in the past. Hopefully he has the energy and des...

Re: UK fans : consider Lörrach
I would have loved to have attended this show. Too bad LC wasn't touring the 7yrs I lived in München. I thought Lörrach was an unusual choice of city for Germany until I saw the preceding and following cities he's playing. This tour is already doing alot of zig-zagging. They say further dates will b...

Re: Outdoors/indoors
I would also love to see him in concert outdoors during summer if the conditions were right. Actually, I'd like the best of both worlds and would also want to see him perform in a small indoor venue. I thought I read the other day that the Denmark venue, Rosenborg Castle, seats 706 but I couldn't fi...

Re: World Tour 2008 preperation CD best of?
I hope he plays these two in Toronto because they've been stuck in my head all winter: - Coming Back To You - In My Secret Life These four I hope to hear too, and it seems the chances are good. Man, I'm excited! - Ain't No Cure For Love - Tower of Song - I'm Your Man - Everybody Knows I also hope he...

Re: I beg you
I feel bad for your predicament. The Manchester Opera House has a total seating capacity of 2000, so I'm sure the tickets went quick. If at all possible, try rearranging your travel plans so you can attend a different LC concert at a more accessible venue. You said you're traveling with two friends,...

Re: Leonard Cohen tickets scam, Ice Skating rip-off
It's unlikely Leonard is performing on ice at 02 Arena because that concert is on July 17, which is the middle of summer. However, since this world tour supposedly will run into 2009, perhaps one or two of his shows during winter months will take place on ice.

Re: Toronto Tickets - did you get them?
I just bought a $95 ticket, BALC3-U-36. Wonder who my neighbors will be. It's not the best seat in the house but I like it because it's front-ish balcony, an aisle seat, center-left-center, and oddly there are no seats in front of it. Very nice. Wish I could have sprung for a more expensive seat, bu...

Re: More venues leaked to the press from AEG promotor
Can you imagine seeing Leonard Cohen perform at Edinburgh Castle or the Vienna Opera House? (Scottish and Austrians excluded)
I'm salivating. But, I suppose once the performance begins, regardless of location, everyone lucky enough to attend will be off in an indescribable place.

The Vienna Opera House would be an amazing venue (term used loosely) to see Leonard Cohen perform.

Re: No US Dates (...yet)
Yes, the more I think about it the luckier I feel that I live only 4hrs from Toronto. If another date close to me gets added down the road, I would not think twice about attending. It's likely a US leg will get added, but until then, people living far from Ontario or Québec are faced with either a t...
