Re: Edinburgh July 16th
I really enjoyed last nights gig, one of the best I've been to. LC was very much on form imo, my only gripe was the constant intros to his band. First time I'd been to the castle for a gig and I was surprised how intimate it was, I was expecting something of stadium proportions. We were sitting at t...

Re: Edinburgh July 16th
I'm so excited about this gig, I've got a day to recover from T in the park and then I'm heading through to Edinburgh. Not been to a gig at the castle before so I'm quite curious to see what its like as a venue

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)
Acording to MR the performace wasn't filmed as Cohen finds the cameras off putting, if thats true then I don't see why they couldn't just have had one camera located off the stage I suppose that puts a different perspective on it, Leonard is pretty shy as we know but what the heck, if you can perfo...

Mark radcliff and Jo whiley were just discussing LC's performances, they said it was amazing. Acording to MR the performace wasn't filmed as Cohen finds the cameras off putting, if thats true then I don't see why they couldn't just have had one camera located off the stage

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)
Reading that review and seeing the set list has made me even more disapointed. Its a loopy decision, whoever made that call obviously under estimated how big an impact being broadcast could have made to LC

Re: Glastonbury
10pm-12.30am BBC Three Leonard Cohen, Goldfrapp, Zutons. 11pm-2am BBC Two (and HD) The Verve on the Pyramid stage. [/i] Does anyone have an update on the above - tune into BBC Three between 10pm and 12-30am for LC coverage? Pretty much, based on the past few nights coverage its often luck of the dr...

True for most artists, if you're willing to risk it and possibly miss the first song then you can pretty much get tickets for pennies outside, the touts will get desperate and relise that a tenner is better than nowt.

Re: Edinburgh Castle, July 16
Just some Edinburgh info for travellers coming and disabled access: The caastle is situated at the top of the Royal Mile, which although beautiful, is cobble stones so wheel chairs will find it difficult, you therefore have two other choices; get a taxi from whereever you are to the top, which WILL...

I got my Edinburgh tickets last week, I was quite surprised that they arrived so long before the gig. Nice to have them but makes me paranoid about losing them!

Re: The O2 Arena
I had no problems with queing when I went, we arrived a bit later than I usually would when going to a gig as our flights had been delayed but I think that worked in our favour as there was no bad queues for anything, guess its down to luck a lot of the time though
