quoting Sarah quoting Dinah Burke... I’ve never seen such generosity of spirit shown by a leading musician towards his supporting band as I witnessed at this concert. When other soloists were in the spotlight, Cohen removed his trademark trilby, watched intently and then bowed in gratitude as the s...

Many thanks John. Incidentally I've just read your magisterial Amazon review on the Leonard Cohen biography by Sylvie Simmons and have added it to my birthday wish list.

Thanks sturgess66. That's a great insight. For me, the man is an ageless paradox, and was from the first. He had a wisdom and maturity way beyond his years when he was in his twenties. And now as 80 beckons, he has acquired the mischief and joie de vivre of youth, without losing any of the wisdom. H...

William - Pleased to hear that you bought the Webb Sisters album on the strength of their performance last night. Check out my lead review of "Savages" on amazon.co.uk John - Your review was the first one I read and it was one of the reviews that persuaded me to trust my instincts before downloadin...

Thanks Goldin and Songwriter. Long time either way. Looks like he doesn't like Tonight Will Be Fine anymore.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: London, UK , September 15, 2013

What a great forum for Leonard Cohen fans, and what an excellent concert report. Thanks. I'm new to this forum. I bought my first Leonard Cohen album back in 1973 (on CD now). Tonight Will be Fine is still my favourite song although he doesn't seem to perform that much these days. (Or does he?) My w...
