Re: GERRY ADAMS SAYS COME TO BELFAST LEONARD

Feel a bit let down that his management are trying to squeeze a bit more cash out of people who have kept him in damm good cash from record sales for many years... As the glastonbury thread kept reminding me... I will save my money and wait for the video... To be honest I wish he had not decided to ...

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)

Oh no confetti, I have to agree with you for the second time ( sorry ) . Ok so he is the most influential writer of the last god knows how long and the only singer whos lyrics I findb important. And he has a voice that most artists would die for, but yes , as a totally heterosexual man , with a few ...

Re: Dublin (June 13-15)

Although I personally was totally sober at Dublin, I can understand where you are coming from. But I guess I was after a different experience than you I have plugged in the ipod or cd, put on headphones and sat on mountain tops and European cathedrals to listen to every pause and beautiful landscape...

Re: Dublin (June 13-15)

I think its about being outdoors in Ireland with a free, liberated happy and wonderful crowd. People singing dancing talking is the spirit of the whole thing. Art, music, literaterature, pornography, dance, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, is what it is, I wouldn't change my experience of it for the world...

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)

I had leaders of the free world and thought it was amazing, but after seeing them live I had to get everything else. The power of the media ...

Missing Kris kristofferson through flashing lights, my ex took me to him a while back and if I had known that worked I could have missed the whole thing ....  At the Dublin show I never thought of taking photos or recording it on the mobile, I was too caught up in the moment. Still raging...

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)

Re: Glastonbury (June 29)

What the F**k is that about... does whoever is looking after leonard have no idea about the impact of glastonbury. Im personally fed up with the constant mention of finance and money... I know he has to make a living but for me music is about more than that. I have many many friends in the music bus...
