Thanks for the info and the link. I listened to some of the clips. Very interesting. How did you come to know about this guy and do you know how you would go about ordering his music?

Thanks again.

I have the album on vinyl as well as most of LC's other albums. I have a good turntable and the sound is very good.

John K. I feel the same way about Neil Young. I have been a huge fan since the beginning with his music. "Zuma" is also one of my favorites among his many great albums. I was lucky enough to see him three times touring with Crazy Horse and of all the many concerts I have attended those thr...

"Lord Baker" w/ Cristy Moore is also a great song. Sinead's voice has
such power. My favorite would have to be "My Lagan Love" followed closely
by "Drink Before the War." "My Lagan Love" gives me chills everytime.

Hi Laurie, That awesome cover of All Along the Watchtower is on Neil's Road Rock, Volume One. I also heard a couple of songs by James McMurtry. I liked one of them but didn't catch the song name. The other one was called Choctaw Bingo and I thought that one was awful. The jury is still out until I h...

Hi Kush, Johnny Mac's wife is Patti Smythe. You may remember a song that is still played a bit by her called "The Warrior". Good Song! I have two of her albums on vinyl both of which I like very much. Patti Smith goes back a long way, having made many albums. I respect her immensely but ne...

Hi Tom,

I checked for you and you are correct, it was Madeleine Peyroux from the CD "Careless Love". I never doubted that there would be many who would prefer this cover to LC's original.

Regards,

Dance me...

During the season premier of Nip/Tuck last night, they played what I thought was a gutwrenchingly shitty version of "Dance me to the end of love". I don't know whose cover it was and truly don't care. Personally I wish on the rare occasion that a LC song is used that his own version of the...

Sandra,

I haven't heard the song you posted but did hear something I liked from
Sigur Ros. I have their name scribbled among many others that I found
interesting enough to check out when time permits. I will definitely give
them a listen. Thanks for sharing.

I am a big fan of the Walkabouts and would love to see them but have never had the opportunity. Glad to hear they have a new album.

I have always loved "Days that Used to Be" also, as I do most everything done by Neil Young.

I have several Handsome Family cds and they are all truly excellent. Rennie tells some strange and sometimes remarkably dark stories in her songwriting and Brett seems perfect to give them voice. They are also LC fans, contributing songs at recent tribute concerts.
