Re: Birmingham NEC, 22 November 2008

Hi Phil
I agree with you, what a night. Leonard is a one-off: there will never be another like him. He just makes you feel good :D about life and he has such a way with words......
Hope we can see him again.

Re: Manchester, UK (June 17-20)

Enjoyed reading your review Phillip...... it sounds as though you had a really memorable night. I attended Tuesday's performance and I'm still on Cloud 9. As you say, every other performer just cannot match Leonard. I actually think his voice is better than at the 1993 Albert Hall - and he was wonde...

Re: Manchester, UK (June 17-20)

Hi Phil, You're in for a real treat. I wish I was going tomorrow as well!! Last night's performance was superb. Leonard Cohen has to be one of the greatest singer songwriters in modern times. The band were wonderful too. The atmosphere was lovely...... everyone was so happy to be there. Still feels ...

Re: Leonard Cohen: TOUR 2008

I saw Len at the Albert Hall in 1993 and have been a fan for about 40 years. I've only just joined this site so I hope that I won't be penalised when it comes to ticket allocations. I'm not a 'computer' person and I expect a lot of his fans aren't either so I do hope we get a chance of purchasing ti...

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

I've only recently joined the forum...... but have been a Leonard Cohen fan since I was 20 (I'm 60 this year). It was my Mum that got me interested in Len. We saw him at the Albert Hall and he was absolutely wonderful. This year I hope to see him (with my husband, brother, nephew and sister!) Can't ...

Yes, Phil, I forgot about the Parr Hall..... that's a nice intimate theatre. Philharmonic Hall, too, in Liverpool would be great.

Re: What venue is everyone hoping for in London?...

If Len does perform in London let's hope it's the Albert Hall........ but it would be great if he came to Liverpool or Manchester but I think that's just wishful thinking. Oh, well, never mind.
