Hey all, I love the idea of meetup before the Seattle gig. I was planning on getting there early as well and it would be great to meet some like minded fans. Looking forward to the next two weeks of anticipation!

Re: Northern Ireland
I have not head of either of those two bands but I was friends with a few local bands (small time) like Mantic, Tapasia, Cafe Cubana and some others. I actually played in an acoustic Tool/funk cover band while I lived there called "Armando P". The rest of the band is still together with a ...

Re: Northern Ireland
nice little article. I live in Seattle, WA (USA) now but grew up near Boston. I did an MA in belfast and ended up staying around because I just loved it. I ran an open mic night at Lavery's on Wed nights for a couple years as well that's still going on! Go down and say hi to my friend Graham who's r...

Re: Northern Ireland
I lived in Belfast for 3 years up till last may and I would have loved to have more major concerts in the area. Serious lack of big acts going through N. Ireland. Amazing city though. I Miss like it's home. Where did it make the top 10 cities to visit in the world?

Re: Seattle Tickets
I'd love to organize a meet up before the show. I'm new to the city though and couldn't recommend a good spot. But we should certainly get something together closer to the show time

Re: $175 per ticket?!?!
$35-50 hasn't been the 'normal' range for major concert events for some time now
$75 seems to be the average price for the cheap tix available at all venues and I think that is quite fair and about average
I paid $120 ($95 range plus fees) and am sitting 9th row on the far right. I'm pretty pleased

Re: Seattle - April 23
Well it's good to know the sound is going to be good although I'm skeptical about the rest of the venue. An LC fan meet up before the gig should most certainly happen (assuming I can actually get tickets!)

Re: Seattle - April 23
I'm curious, the seating chart for this theater on ticketmaster says there is a "terrace" as well as the orchestra/floor. Is this "terrace" not an actual balcony? And is this what you refer to being far away from the stage and thus not a great seat? I was thinking of going for th...

Re: Anxiously awaiting U.S. dates......
just a guess, but I would think an announcement around the date of the NY concert in two weeks would make sense. that way the publicity of the concert would enhance the publicity for the tour. that's what they did last year, when the first leg was announced as Leonard was inducted into the Hall of ...

Anxiously awaiting U.S. dates......
Everyday I come on here hoping the tour is announced. It's some serious anticipation, waiting for one of your heroes to come to or near your home town. If he tours in April, which I believe was what was posted here at some point, one would figure the announcement could come anyday! ::hopes for a sto...

Re: petition for U.S. dates?
Leonard MUST be planning a U.S. leg that fits into the 2009 part of an 08-09 tour. I'm in the UK now but will be returning just before the tour hits over here so i'll miss this leg. PLEASE add another leg in the U.S. It will happen. It MUST!!!
