I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere but there was another LC based programme on BBC Radio over the weekend. It was totally devoted to the song "Hallelujah" and was fascinating to hear so many different versions and so many different interpretations.

It was fantastic last night and I cannot write so eloquently as others have so I won't try! My only gripe was,in my humble opinion, the announcing of the performers(who were all excellent by the way) after every individual short solo. It seemes way over the top to me. and got in the way of at least ...

Surely there has to be a legal issue here. Didn't Ticketmaster say soon after the tickets went on sale, that they were sold out. If they did, but were holding some back, that should be misrepresentation, especially as their own website later auctioned some.

I still have a hunch that July 31st could be Cambridge folk festival - I certainly hope so - I'm going anyway, so to have LC there as well would be special. The list of artists for this wonderful festival has still not been announced, which, I think, is later than normal. Just speculating!
