Re: LAS VEGAS SHOW - DRESS CODE??

Caesar's is an ideal concert venue in many respects. The sound is excellent. The sightlines are superb. The theatre is well appointed and elegant. The seats are comfortable. Entrance and exiting are well managed. I agree with this 100% and the only thing I can think to add is that this is one of th...

Re: LAS VEGAS SHOW - DRESS CODE??

Anything goes for shows in Vegas but many restaurants and clubs do have strict dress codes. If you're planning dinner reservations before the show and/or a club afterward you should check dress codes there.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas

I haven't booked it yet but we plan to stay at the Mirage. We haven't been there since the remodel and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turned out. Anyone who wants a great deal on a room on the strip should join the players club. You can't beat free, and with membership in the players club you ...

Re: Seattle - meetup anyone?

We would certainly be interested in a meet up either before or after the show. My husband and I always have an early dinner at The Pike before shows in Seattle. They make our favorite beer there and it's a great pub. We plan to do the usual before the show this time as well, but if others want to me...

Re: The Monkey and a plywood violin

The women tore their blouses off in Oakland and I liked it... The Monkey I love this pic! Only problem is now I have this song stuck on mental repeat and it goes like this... "The women tear their blouses off and The Monkey dances on the polka dots". :D Thanks for posting this, and the re...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie (Apr 3)

I can't add much to the already great reviews and reports here but I have a couple of comments. Overheard this comment while leaving the theater: "I'm an atheist who just had a deeply spiritual experience" I had the pleasure of sitting behind a six year old boy who wore a fedora (and remov...

Re: Lullaby

I watched one person go down front and off to the left to video record it in Dallas. This person took video recordings of several songs, and was never asked to stop, even though they were standing near security. I was somewhat surprised by that. I expect it will show up on youtube sometime. The song...

Re: help needed

Drew, I live in OKC and went to the show last night too. Sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend. My husband and I will be going to Leonard's Seattle and Chicago shows as well, so if you don't manage to get it replaced before then we'd be glad to help you out. Since we live in the same city...

Re: Are the concerts actually starting on time?

I think the issue with the Grand Prairie (Dallas) show starting late was traffic. We left Oklahoma City with plenty of time to get there, and should have arrived at the venue between 5:30 & 6:00, but due to accidents involving fatalities on the highways in the area we barely got there in time to...

Re: What to wear?

Ok so here's my brief Fashion Report from the Grand Prairie, TX show: Think Boho chic. I saw 2 men in Tuxedo's who looked very out of place and uncomfortable. Almost everyone wore black, but not black tie. Most of the women in my age group and younger (40's) went with the LBD, but not the classic LB...

Re: Please post setlists of the North America tour here!!!

Grand Prairie, TX set list 4/03/09 was exactly the same as Austin, TX 4/01/09.

Lullaby was a real treat. It made me cry.

Re: What to wear?

Lizzy, thanks again for your help! I told her it's a once in a lifetime chance and no matter what I wasn't going to let her miss it. Not even allowed to call in sick on this one! I've found a pair of black jeans for myself so she'll feel better about it, and had her read this post so we're set to go...

Re: What to wear?

Thanks for the quick reply's! I will tell her black jeans & T will be fine, and that's great because we will match. I don't have any black jeans so will stick with the LBD. Wonderful, thanks again!
