Kush, You don't have to worry about seeing any more posts of mine. I went and studied all of my previous posts to see where it was I went wrong. In none of them do I show myself to be a "fan" of Lizzytysh. The only post in reference to Partisan/Heretic was a positive one. My exchanges with you I tho...

Kush, I am bemused by several of your statements on this thread. First, you state that to be human is to disagree, to have our own ideas and consequently to have conflict !! We would have to be robots to have no conflict. there's gotta be cracks on this forum, that's how the light comes in. But when...

Kush, I am not trying to get you to live up to my high standards. I don't think I'm setting the bar that high and I don't think that one question is an interrogation. In the past on other threads you have stated that you didn't understand the furor others made over the number of Lizzytysh's posts. S...

I just went back and read over Tchoc's posts. There is something very very weird about them. I beginning to think M is right.

Just curious, Kush. About the "colorful language". Precisely, which bits did you think were so "funny"?

Heretic, I have always been amused with your ramblings in the past. But you are dead wrong this time. The picture is not amusing. The post is specifically addressed to Lizzytysh and the picture is merely there to denigrate her. That's the way its done by the unimaginative, you know. Make your oppone...

Dear Jarkko, I am livid about September Cohen's latest post. It should be removed. I don't know why women have to put up with this sort of thing in the name of free speech. I will be very disappointed in you if you do not take appropriate action. If you do not do anything about this I can only assum...

Dear Biraj, I have been thinking about your criticisms of my post. I do believe it is possible to comprehend the Advaita philosophy without being "highly evolved" spiritually. I really don't think I have a simplified view of it either. That said--I am going back to re-read Balseker's books because I...

I watched the Isle of Wight tape on VHS. I enjoyed it. It was a good look at the underbelly of that type of event. I especially liked Kris Kristopherson's "I think they're gonna shoot us" remark about the crowd before bolting from the stage.

Kush, Thanks for the links. This weekend I'm going to try my public library for Kaku's Hyperspace. I would love to see "Brilliant Minds: Secrets of the Cosmos" but I can't get Discovery's Science Channel from my cable company. I of the Vortex looks a little intimidating to me. Maybe later. I have Ha...

Out of curiosity what are the updated modern texts you are referring to... I find it very useful to read modern commentaries on the the old texts. It certainly helps to clear up the "confusing" parts that I can't get a grasp on.

Sure, we have accumulated more "data" and have been able to make more sense of our physical world. But in what way do we really "know" more than previous generations of Thinkers? I had always been bored by the ancient Greek philosphers, Augustine, Aquinas, Kant, Descarte, Hegel Heidegger, et al and ...

Thanks for this site. I recently downloaded the Amsterdam 1980 concert. The Joan of Arc duet with Sharon Robinson is OUTSTANDING. The best rendention I've heard. (Just my personal opinion). In fact, it's the first time I've been able to hear Sharon's voice really featured. Absolutely beautiful.

Kush, I once worked (in a very lowly capacity) at an outpatient psychiatry clinic for a medical college. Have you ever ever read the Sci-fi short story, Beyond Bedlam? It's one of my favorites. Although I think the author was mistaken in his concept of what schizophrenia was all about.
