Re: Dream upon the Mourning light

come on, Dame Llon, Geoffrey on sex is like me on poetry. just a few times a year and not to be taken too seriously. Mickey Thank you for your opening exhortation but, really, I need no encouragement. :) Is Geoffrey not to be taken seriously? Is he merely posing as a bigot? Whatever his motivation,...

Crumbs, Red Poppy - You may be confusing me with some other odd woman of your acquaintance. I think I would remember if I had you, for dinner. Were you the appetizer, entree or main course? :) . A crumb-tray's not a dust-pan, hen!
It's a recycling tool, a wee tray for collecting food crumbs.
When yer finished yer dinner, brush the crumbs off yer table cloth into the crumb-tray...
they can be used to coat the kippers for yer next meal. :)

Re: To see you

Hi Virginia
The word 'surreptitious' is the only word in this that jars for me. I think it takes from the mood.
Again you've created a really atmospheric piece.
I'd look forward to more, but that seems exploitative because they're all so sad.

Re: Downstairs

Hi Virginia
I have been reading your poems as you submit them.

It's like following a serialized story.
Do you mean for each to stand alone or might they eventually merge?
