Re: '10 Great Leonard Cohen Covers by Female Artists'

Since Anjani released her version of Nightingale first, does it count as a cover? ;)

Re: Tried to exchange tickets

I bought tickets today for the Tampa show. I took row 5 (EE) as they came up when I put in for best available. After purchase ,I looked again at seating chart and saw that there were available seats in 2nd row.(BB). I called the Venue and asked if I could swap (same price). They did this for a $25 ...

Re: VIP packages - comments

No one is scamming you. Learn about the difference packages before you buy. Don't pay more than you want to. No one is forcing you to buy VIP packages. And some of the best seats I had at a Cohen concert were far from the front. They were comfortable and had leg room!

Re: PRESALE TO ALL CONCERTS (Except NY) NOW

Lost track of time and suddenly realized I had to run and get tickets! Ended up with row 2, seats 7 and 8 for the Victoria show. I didn't use any of the VIP packages this time. I already have three of Leonard's pictures that are awaiting frames and it seemed like time to be a bit more frugal. I thin...

Re: VIP packages - comments

I just bought tickets for Victoria, non VIP and got second row. So honestly I think this is a lot of belly aching and hogwash.

Re: VIP packages - comments

I'm hardly some wealthy elite so don't bother trying to paint me like that. I do, however, have an idea of the price of art. My point still stands, you can get regular tickets outside of the VIP packages and still be very close to the front. Personally I think if they want to offer VIP packages that...

Re: PRESALE TO ALL CONCERTS (Except NY) ON TUESDAY (Jan 15)

We won't know the price for the VIP packages until they are on sale, will we? Do the VIP package prices change depending on the venue?

Re: VIP packages - comments

Let me chime in since at his last Vancouver concert I bought diamond VIP seats and top Non-VIP seats. When I first went to buy tickets I knew I wanted the VIP package, but I had some weird trouble with the web form and couldn't purchase the VIP set. So after fiddling with it a bit I resigned to purc...

Re: Lithograph Exchange Program

I purchased two VIP packages to the last Vancouver BC show and I received two different lithographs, so you might not get duplicates.

Re: What happens until the Summer tour?

I'm very much hoping for a live cd/DVD, especially with the Joan of Arc duet! Maybe they'll use the break to sort that out. (Although I'm not sure how much Leonard really needs to be involved in the organization of a live album.)

Re: The Holy Or The Broken

I find I really like what Amanda Palmer says (which is unusual). I'm not sure "technical" is exactly the description I'd give it, but I think I see what she means.

Nothing tops hearing Leonard perform it live.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Vancouver, BC November 12, 2012

What an amazing show! I had the pleasure of seeing Leonard in Victoria and Vancouver on the last tour and I'd been wondering if it would be much different from them. Well, Dino Soledo's absence was definitely felt but what a delight in Alex Bublitchi! His affect on pieces was amazing! Between him an...
