Re: CONCERT REPORT: Dublin, September 11th and 12th 2013

Thanks a million to Albert Noonan for his brilliance in capturing the concert.
Being part of the crowd made me proud to be Irish, which is a strange thing
to say maybe. Just an uplifting experience.

Re: BEST COVER VERSIONS OF A LEONARD COHEN SONG OF ALL TIME

Two i think worth checking:

Villagers: Famous Blue Raincoat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFyRncUVcnAo

and one I just adore is:
Palace (Will Oldham): Winter Lady

Hope someone enjoys one or both.

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN

I also want to say that I cannot recommend the Gibson Hotel highly enough. It is located 2 minutes (yes, literally 2 minutes) from the O2 Arena. You could fall out of the hotel 10 minutes before curtain up and still be in your seat on time. Here is the link to the Tripadvisor page http://www.tripadv...

carlowmike: just noticed you have sent me two e-mails. I provided my e mail address to the moderators of this site on signing up. I would not dream of contacting another member via e-mail unless they requested it. You can reply on the forum or via a PM. I have no intention of communicating with you ...

But helicopter rides? Jeney who works for the kildaregeneaogy wants to go for a helicopter ride on the weekend, she also wants to meet up with fans specifically from offaly, carlow etc. The great thing about this forum is that it brings people together from all over the world. Re: Sligo-Help for newbies.

I wonder if some of the personas created on this thread actually exist. The more I look at it the more strange it all seems. It has the feel of a hard sell, maybe commercially inspired. An uncanny number of members seem to have been created just before they entered opinions, only on this thread or i...

My wife, a member of this forum, is at present confined to a wheelchair, unable to use a computer at present, both of us hope to attend the Sligo Concert. But we had no information to help us. Through this Forum we recei...

Erm, where is the Vet's cos I'm bringing me goldfish  too? They never miss an lc concert, but I'm worried about timothy tiddles on account of his scale-rash. Maybe you could get them backstage or ,hell even onstage. They would be no trouble. Bound to be a vet in a crowd this size and he/she co...

bickering like schoolchildren, talk about losing the run of yourself. Deadline for ideas for Tuesday's crunch meeting is Saturday just in case anyone needs reminding. George Mitchell may be flying in to lend a hand.

Re: PRESALE to SLIGO on April 24-26
