Re: Sad news about a Forum friend

Thank you all for your kind words about Paul. Paul's service was held on Friday 29 June 2007 at St Patrick's in Dunedin, followed by a gathering of his (many) friends and family at his home. It was a lovely service and a good day - he would have enjoyed it. The eulogy/tribute made mention of this Gr...

Hi Laura & Lizzy, If the jeweller had specs Lizzy, perhaps he wouldn't have needed such detail. I shall certainly do my best to post the finished product. It will be a couple of months, and a whole new set of computer skills before I am able to do so. "Just beady things," does not do y...

Done and dusted, thanks to a couple of kind people. It's a bit like doing the hokey-tokey, with your computer mouse. You right click here, then you left click there, you save it here, you e-mail it there, and you shake it all about, and "print." Eventually you finish with a perfectly prese...

Order of the Unified Hearts Emblem help wanted

I'm looking for a really, really, really, good image of the Order of Unified Hearts symbol. If I had gone to Montreal in 2000, I would have the ring, but I didn't...so I haven't. For secretive and furtive reasons I went to a jeweller, armed with my copy of "Book of Longing," with the inten...

Thank you so much Henning. The package arrived yesterday, thus I have been reading and listening, and managing to get some sort of feeling of the mood around the Berlin event. I also received an unexpected bonus item. Attached to the back of a postcard was a short, dark strand of hair. I doubt it is...

I was delighted to receive postcard greetings from Berlin in the mail today.

Thanks for the kind thoughts and generosity of spirit, from the signatories, which accompanied the card. That all the usual suspects were involved really adds value.

What a fine looking group of people assembled. Thanks for the photos Pawel and Linda. A couple of observations about your photos Linda. I suppose I shouldn't be, but I was amazed at the number of beautiful ladies who got Dicked. Also from image #67 I would be interested to know what Joe was singing....

Oh dear, Michael. Some of us have relied on you to provide a feeling of participation at past events, via postcards you sent. It was a much appreciated gesture. I do hope someone is thoughtful enough to send you a postcard. They keep for years in the same drawer as your socks and undies. All the bes...

I saw a different interview with Judy Collins on TV last night. She is coming to New Zealand next week. Leonard wasn't mentioned in this interview, which concentrated more on her personal life, coping mechanisms, and managing her busy lifestyle. Two or three times she would start singing, and comple...

The reason(s) she didn't stay must haved seemed valid at the time. Are they still valid?

You've out-carved Carver, Ania. I'm moved...and helpless, but most of all just plain inadequate.

There was a short interview with Graeme Allwright on a TV current affairs show on a NZ channel tonight. He seems an exceptionally fit and healthy 79 year old. He was very well-spoken and not at all "like someone's grandad planning an afternoon weeding the garden," as the newspaper article ...

Two cities in the North Island can hardly be described as a New Zealand tour.

"Came so far for beauty" but only bothered with 2 venues. Oh well.

I also live in an "invalid" city so I moved from Dunedin to Wellington in New Zealand. I only changed the location to ensure it was my city that was invalid and not me!
