Re: Leonard Has Passed Away

My world is a darker place today without Leonard in it. I am thankful I got to see him perform and his work will live on - but I am so very sad today. I feel for everyone who loved him as I did. RIP Leonard

Re: New book: LC - Still The Man

I received this book at the week-end. Fairly well produced and lots of pictures of Leonard through the years, but nothing I didn't already know, so probably a bit disappointing overall.

Re: Happy Birthday, Leonard!

Have a happy one Leonard, I cannot thank you enough for all the pleasure your concerts and music have given me over the years. How wonderful it would be to visit Hydra and sit on the bench we have comissioned, to find you sitting there too contemplating the ocean! Hope we can see you tour again and ...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Brighton, AUGUST 28th 2013

I have seen Leonard in a range of venues in the past 2 years but I have rarely heard him in better voice than at Brighton. He was wonderful - the sea air clearly suited him and my sister and I didn't want the evening to ever end. Thank you Leonard, the girls and the band for a memorable evening I sh...

What a wonderful piece. Thank you so much. It reflects so much about why I also love Leonard's work and you have put it so well.

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin September 11, 12, 14 & 15, 2012

I was lucky to see Leonard both in Wembley and Dublin a few days apart. Although the performance was brilliant in both cases, to me there was quite a difference betweenthe Wembley Leonard and the Dublin Leonard. He clearly loves Dublin and the Irish people. He was energised, clearly enjoying himself...

Re: Ticketmaster tickets for Dublin.

Got my tickets for Dublin on Saturday in case anyone wants to know : so excited now it's getting nearer. I saw Leonard for the first time in Weybridge and nearly got washed away - maybe I can see him one day under a roof!

Re: Ticketmaster tickets for Dublin.

Re: HOP FARM MEET up

If the gates open at 3.00 does anyone have a clue what time the performance will actually start? Having suffered the terrile traffic in getting to Weybridge I have heard that Hop Farm may be similar. Having tried to find anyway I could catch a performance elsewhere and finally booking Dublin - I fin...

Re: I think Leonard's new album is awful.

I can see how you might have thought this as when I played the pre release tracks fom the web I dreaded the actual album. However I am now totally adicted. The tracks really do grow on you and I now find that these are the ones I seek out on my player instead of the usual favourites from Live in Lon...

Re: disappointment with the man and his music

I agree that mature people can cope with criticism and work through it so support your rights to your views. However I don't really expect Leonard to "do" anything for me. I like his music, pay to purchase it and to see him perform. I can certainly name one or two things however he might h...

Does anyone know if the tickets will roll over to the new dates, or do we have to fight for a refund for those too?

Re: To the 2010 World Tour organizers: Cities Wish List

As much as I am absolutely thrilled to bits to be able to see him again in France I wonder if his fans are going to totally exhaust him by our seemingly insatiable desire to see him perform everywhere. We seem to have well and truly tied him to the tower of song. Despite a heavy conscience about thi...

Re: look at it, leonard - one last time

You could interpret this as she never shows him anything below the surface - there was a time when she let him see below the surface but now she never shows it to him. When he moved in her he influenced her in some way. However I much prefer the sexy alternatives - much more fun!

Re: Cohen has ONE bad habit

I know it can be a bit distracting in the middle of something, but it is part of his respect for others coming through. I also re-read my Book of Longing this week and notice he is full of praise for people who have helped at the end of this book too - so giving recognition is part of what you get. ...
