Dear Paula and Lizzytysh, Thanks for your posts. It has been several years since my friend's death. And time does soften the pain. But there is a residual effect that stays with you. And it comes out at the most unlikely times. (And I would be lying if I said that on hearing about Lana's death I los...

Dear Paula, I had a dear friend who was accosted on her way to work early one morning, raped, stabbed seventeen times and her body dumped over a railroad embankment. That will make you "sensitive." I don't expect people to have the same depth of feeling as the victim's family and friends. ...

Thanks for the definition. No I'm not winding anybody up. People should think before they speak so cavilierly about murder. Perhaps it's not until something like this happens to someone close to you do you understand that what is grief and heartbreak for family and friends is just gossip for others....

In other words you were much more concerned about what didn't happen to Leonard than what did happen to Lana.

Lizzy, you seem to be missing the point. Let me spell it out for you. Let say, it was Leonard on the other end of the gun when Spector pulled the trigger. Then let's suppose that someone came onto the forum and posted the kind of flippant remark you did. Dismissing his life in three words "this...

Are you for real? YOUR WORDS: "As I said much earlier, my immediate thought upon hearing the news was of his and Leonard's relationship during the making of Death of a Ladies Man. After that thought, the first pun that occurred to me was accompanied by a sense of relief that the album's title w...

I don't agree Partisan

It was pathetic and rather predictable, but hey let's all have a cheap laugh.

But from now on, I don't want to see anymore hypocritical, mushy, love and compassion jive from Lizzytysh.

Are you kidding? A woman is DEAD and a man's life is in ruins ---- yeah, lets all sit around thinking up stupid little jokes about it.

Judgementally yours,

Yes, and perhaps when we find out the details of this poor woman's death Lizzy can come up with another sick pun about it.

For Shame!

Dear Leonard,

Pay no attention to Lightning.
Pawns are not little and cute.
Pawns are little and warlike -- with regal tendencies.
I am indignant.

Ferociously yours,
Lowly Pawn

Dear Leonard,

I know that you know that pawns are not prawns.

Please write a song for me.

Dear Leonard,

Pawns are very silent.

When we do speak we only say, "Check"or "Checkmate."

Depending upon the situation.

Yours in Silence,
A Lowly Pawn
