Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Sligo, July 31 & August 1, 2010

I dont think they should use Lissadel again, it worked reasonably ok for this weekend and was special because of the Westlife homecoming and Leonard. Perhaps POD concerts should consider a larger venue that is more accessible for everyone, Thomond Park for example, and have Leonard headlining acts t...

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Sligo, July 31 & August 1, 2010

Wonderful concert on Saturday night. Great performance by all. I think Leonard enjoyed himself. I dont think it surpassed the Kilmainham weekend. Each evening in the Royal Hospital had a magic that would be impossible to replicate. But in saying that it doesn't matter, Leonard was sublime in Lissade...

Re: Dublin preconcert meetups

A wonderful magical night. Better than all thre Kilmainham gigs put together. A happy skipping and dancing Leonard serenading us for three hours. Partisan was brilliant. Much better than Avalanche could have been. Famous Blue Raincoat was one of many highlights. Jesus, the hairs stood on my neck. Bi...

Re: Dublin (June 13-15)

Thanks for the memories Leonard. Thank you for allowing us celebrate and contemplate the mysteries of the human condition with you. Thanks for your humility and graciousness. Traits that modern Ireland lacks. Thank you for your blessing on a key ring. Thanks for taking the time tell us your stories....

Re: LEONARD'S TOUR BAND

Leonard is obviously taking his time on such an important decision :D Who will form the vocal trinity to support the delivery of of his work live. My personal fav would be Perla and Jenny. I love Perla's 'Anthem & Bird' and her whole sense of fun on stage. An amazing performer. Jennifer Warnes d...

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

Kieron - your presence here is as rare as that of the newbies :D You're a terrible man for not picking up your PMs or for not replying to them. We had to go ahead with our Christmas party without you! And we couldn't form a quorum at the AGM. :D Hi D, I never received the minutes of the AGM and cou...

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

That is unbelievable, Tom just rang me to say it's gone from ticketmaster. So looks like your right Claire, they do play silly beggars :D
Has anyone ever seen that happen before??
I should have taken a screen grab so people believe me. Did anyone see it other than Tom and me?
