Hi CarlowMike
I am delighted that the tree planting idea is being considered. While I appreciate that Leonard himself may not be available perhaps Maarten plant the tree?

9 Weeks To Go. As is the practice with other outdoor events and large venues the organisers hope that there will be a Booth dispensing Binoculars for hire on the grounds. There will be two large screens on each side of the stage and I am told that there may be a large 4 dimensional screen as a back...

Hi Carlowmike
Many thanks for taking the trip to Sligo and posting this very useful transport information. Was hoping to make the trip myself but unfortunately it didn't work out.
Looking forward to July

Hi CarlowMike
Just had an idea for the "Together for Sligo" people.
How about planting a Maple Tree in honour of a rather imporant Canadian visitor coming to town!!
Not as exiting perhaps as boat trips or balloon rides but worth a shot!!
You're playing a blinder!

Re: Go Sligo Go....
Hi folks Just back from a quick 24 hour visit to Sligo and it is looking good! Benbulben, one of Sligo’s most famous landmarks stood proudly in the background welcoming us as we approached the town on a sunny Tuesday morning. For a couple of hours in the afternoon a light mist descended on the mount...

Re: Barcelona Celebration 20 and 21-09-2009
Hola everyone, Just wondering if anyone else is flying with Aerlingus from Dublin on Saturday at 6.30pm? Can't wait for all the cohenite events and to visit my favourite cafes and tapas bars again (ahhhh Graciaaa), fingers crossed the weather is a bit warmer than here right now. Counting down the h...
