Re: Leonard Cohen turns down GLEE TV series

There is absolutely no chance this is true; for starts, I would have thought it wasn't up to L. And secondly, Daniel Johnston, who's mentioned along with Madonna, is a relatively obscure folk-singer who suffers from severe bi-polar. His songs are not known away from his hardcore fanbase. Just seems ...

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

Folks, are we expecting this to be his only gig? I was hoping he'd play Dublin again.

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

Can we expect more gigs, do you think, or will it be just Sligo?

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin, July 19, 20, 22, 23

Many months ago, when the dates for Dublin were announced on here, I posted saying I would be seeing Leonard a day after my twenty first birthday, and I know now that whatever age I live to, I will never receive such a gift as truly mesmerising and unforgettable as Monday night's show. I went with m...

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast

Jarkko, thanks ever so much!

All booked - front row, number 30 and 31 (which is bang in the middle, I think) Can't wait; it's my first time seeing Leonard!

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast

Sorry for asking another question, but is the presale on here before that of 02's customers one? They have a service called the blue room, which basically gives their customers the opportunity to buy tickets 2 days before they're released; when are the dublin tickets going on general sale? I heard ...

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast

For the presale, does one have to first register at Ticketmaster, and then wait here for the password?

The presale for the Dublin gigs is, when, Friday? If so, does one just go to ticketmaste, enter the password and then purchase?

Ta,

Mark

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

Hi Shadowplay I caught the end of an item on Newstalk about the concerts and heard them mention the €125 ticket price. I see Roro has got more info from TV3, and a friend tells me there are €110 tickets also. Yeah, thanks for that, Bill. Guess I'll have to try and stretch it and try and get the bes...

Yeah, just saw that there. Pretty damn expensive, really, but, as they say, "he's worth it."

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

Its not showing up on their website either but if Jarkko says its confirmed I'm going to believe that. Mark, I don't think there's any info on ticket prices yet and so far just one concert in Dublin confirmed, although I'm hoping for more Cheers for that, buddy. Seeing as it's the 02, I'm guessing ...

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

I rang the 02 in Dublin today and they do not have anything for Leonard Cohen . I hope this is not a red herring Considering it hasn't been officially announced yet, they're probably waiting til tomorrow, or the end of the week, to announce the show. Sure the Belfast gig was only officially announc...
