Re: Leonard exhibition now in Copenhagen

Yes, me, too, Wendy!! I would want to see the elements that you missed. With both San Fran and L.A. being in California, I hope they'll at least do the recreation and the hologram. I'm going to focus very hard on being able to get to San Fran for it.

Re: Leonard exhibition now in Copenhagen

I am hoping that the exhibition will be complete when it comes to San Francisco. I missed the Montreal one by one day. I missed the New York one because of the hurricane that cancelled my flight. I was hoping the Copenhagen one would go longer, so that Ghent and it could be merged, but many months s...

Re: New Leonard Cohen biography by Sylvie Simmons

Hi Fred ~ !! Such a comprehensive commentary on Leonard that carried me through so many years and memories. I love the concept of 36 men, and when Leonard died, it felt like "The Last of the Just" is now gone, though I knew nothing of Lamed Vov. I also like how you have tied Leonard's loss of his fa...

Re: Holiday Wishes 2019

Dearest Jarkko and dearest Eija ~ I missed seeing this greeting post when I was here on Christmas Eve, so my wishes come late. Your photo, Eija, is exquisite, with the warmth of the red tulips and its green amidst the sparkling cold of the ice against blue sky. Heavenly and other-worldly. So creativ...

I read all you wrote (and saw the clever cartoon) at your site, Greg. I agree with yopietro, though, that you need to (it would be great if) you copy&paste your comments to here (as well).

I love your Question at the end, Brucester. I agree. I'm grateful for this extra material coming to us the only way possible.

Re: From the New Yorker, “Leonard Cohen and the Divine Voice”

I read it through a link via FB and reposted it there. I will listen now. Thank you for the link, Joe. It takes so little to bring it all back, his loss, but when there's a lot, it's even harder. ************ I can't get it to open. Will try again later. My Internet access for this kind of thing is ...

Re: Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love, film by Nick Broomfield

I've read all the reviews here, except the ones where a link needs to be clicked on first. I'll return to read those. Ironic that the woman writer/reviewer who complains about the film not focusing on Marianne enough and muses as much as 'abused beings' goes into great detail about other artists and...

Marianne's house. Yes, I want to see it the next time I'm there.
