Being a city of 6 million residents, the projection for ticket sales probably warranted the choice of the Nokia as a venue. Sadly, this did not happen i have friends who wanted to go but didn't because of the ticket price(s). even the cheapest tickets were more expensive than they had ever paid for...

i was at the grand prairie show last night. got there early to pick up will-call (pre-sale) tickets. they opened up just a bit later than the 6:20 time previously mentioned, but it was nice when they said "fan club members may now enter to have a first look at the merchandise."

i was online at exactly 10am to buy tix for the grand prairie, tx show, selected the $99 seats and it gave me sec 204 (center) row LL. I'm pretty quick when it comes to ticketmaster, but it is now 12:41pm, nearly 3 hours later, and i can get better seats now than i did when they went on sale. same p...

according to ticketmaster, ticket prices for the grand prairie, tx show range from US $57.50 - US $254.75. is the $254.75 for a single lower level ticket or is this for some kind of package deal? i ask because that is quite expensive for a single ticket.

well... at least now i don't have to wait in suspense for the announcement on the 20th to see if he will be coming to my town. i will be at the nokia on april 3rd. just don't know how much i will end up paying for my ticket :? i like what tom waits did for his "glitter & doom" tour. no...
