Re: CONCERT REPORT: Hanging Rock, Australia, November 20, 2010
The highlight of the concert was Vika and Linda Bull, two of our best singers backing Paul Kelly. The lowlights were numerous far too many people allowed into the venue. The numbers were meant to be capped but it felt like half of Melbourne turned up, the traffic control was terrible. Like others we...

Re: AUSTRALIA AND NZ - SALE INFO
Oh happy day, we are jolly lucky again in Australia to have Leonard come down again. At least it should be cooler for him and his band. I can't wait to go again, it was the best concert, (next to Abba when I was much younger that is!) And a question, will it be the same set list/show as last year? D...

Re: NPR podcast of Beacon Theatre show, available from Feb 26
Thanks Nick. Downloaded and now I have to work how to burn and then tape so I can listen at home. Life was sometimes easier with a tape recorder and tape, I think I am the only person who still has a tape deck only in their car.

For a total computer (read luddite) beginner, how do I do the download to keep? I can listen to the concert fine and love it. However when I do the download I keep getting Tom Jones (which is fine) but I wanted Leonard. I am an IBM using computer sloth.
Cheers

Re: Isn't it a bit warm out there?
It is bizarre, sad and surreal to think that at the end of January we were listening to Leonard at the Rochford Winery, yesterday the area the winery was under threat from bushfires and a concert there cancelled. We are the lucky ones in Melbourne and feel for our friends and collegues who have lost...

Re: Melbourne - Thursday February 5, 2009
Its hot in Australia right now, so everyone is tired, cranky and really really hot. Add in the fact that places haven't seen rain for months and we haven't seen green grass for years and the drab brownness and dryness really can get to you on a hot day so its no wonder Leonard might seem a bit tired...

Re: Rochford Winery - the first Australian show
What I can say that hasn't been said before? I was dragged to the concert, best friend has been a diehard Leonard fan for 30 years. And I have never been to such an amazing experience and seen such a polished performer with the best musicians and back up singers. Have been listening to all the Cohen...
