Re: Does Leonard have Grandchildren
Thanks Paula I enjoyed reading all those links. Perhaps the next one will be called Leonard, unless its a girl of course! I suppose we could have Leonora!

Re: Does Leonard have Grandchildren
Thanks for that, I can imagine him being a wonderful grandfather - little toddler balanced on his knee. I wonder if he sings nursery rhymes to him. Can you imagine, he could make a cd of nursery rhymes and we could all play them to our children or grandchildren. Start them young.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Weybridge, July 11
Thanks to everyone up at the front for the singalong, it made my evening, what a great gig it turned out to be after such a slow start. No one even clapped or cheered as Leonard started to sing each song! I sung my heart out at the end and loved every minute of it. Hoping Leonard is ok from the cold...

I'm going for Portland in Oregon because my friend lives there and would love to see him. I also believe they have a good venue.

I've not heard of 'The Lost Canadian' where have I been? Thanks for bringing it to my attention, will look it up. Jazz Police is the only song I'm not keen on, so he can keep that one off the set list. I would love to hear Story of Isaac and The Stranger Song (my current favourite).

Re: 10,000 members!!!
Wow, well done everyone. I particularly like looking at the locations and seeing where everyone lives. What a far flung and varied group we are, crossing all cultures, languages and time zones. Congrats to all the New York crowd. I did feel quite smug when Leonard played the O2 as I live about 5 mil...

Re: Are there any Leonard Cohen impersonators?
Arthur Smith, British comedian,(very deadpan) did a show a few years back, I think it was called something like 'An evening with Leonard Cohen'. He performed in the West End for about 2 weeks. He sang Leonard's songs and told jokes in between, it was a brilliant show. He sounded quite good especiall...

If anyone's interested - go to the BBC website and look up Entertainment, scroll down until you see the picture of Leonard and you can take part in a Hallelujah quiz.

Just watched the Sharon Robinson Helsinki tv interview on Youtube and she says 'its probably his last tour'. Perhaps Leonard could tour again just reciting his poems?

Re: Hallelujah to be winner's song on UK X-Factor
Just hope Diana Vickers wins, she has an amazing voice and I think would do a good version as long as they keep it raw and don't over produce it. She actually sang a verse in the auditions and was good.
