Re: PRESALE TO the 3rd CONCERT IN DUBLIN

Now, more importantly, is anyone else incredibly attracted to him?!! Oh yes!!!!!! ;-) Just bought my tickets for the third Dublin Concert. Was in the third row for Lissadell and thought anything less would never do after such a fantastic concert. I somehow missed sales for the first two Dublin conc...

Re: Sligo-Help for newbies.

[ Something funny (strange) definitely happened to the signature. I went there on Monday also, and saw that fake ' L. Cohen, Montreal' signature - not 'Leonard', no 'sublime'. It bugged me so much that I went back again on Thursday and found the real signature, but the page was sellotaped back into...

Re: Sligo-Help for newbies.

I went by there before leaving on Monday but couldn't find his signature. I really hope I'm wrong and that I just couldn't see it and that if someone tore it out that it's to preserve it and it won't be suddenly appearing on Ebay or something. Yes, I have same concerns. I looked on Sunday an...
Savouring the magic of last night. It all feels a bit surreal ... that Leonard Cohen was playing where I live!! Indeed - I had to keep reminding myself that it was real, that Leonard Cohen was really in the flesh in Lisadell. What a fantastic venue. Wouldn't it be wonderf...

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Sligo, July 31 & August 1, 2010

Oh yes, this was the best concert of all time for me. What a wonderful setting, seats in the second row, Leonard and the band in absolutely stunning form. He has left me satisfied.

Re: Sligo-Help for newbies.

Oh what is going on here??? Thanks Keith and Marian for the help you have offered and are giving the forum. Of course your advice is not impartial - you are hardlly going to be promoting Donegal or Leitrim, although I am sure you would do that as well. Let's remember that the event is in Sligo and w...

Re: PRESALE to SLIGO on April 24-26
Dear friends, do not forget 'Lovely Leitrim'. Why not visit the beautiful town of Carrick on Shannon (ok I'm biased, I live here) which is only 40 miles from Lissadel. Indeed any of you coming from the Dublin direction on the N4 will pass through here. Carrick is one of 2 Irish t...

Where will the band stay, will Lissadell put them up?

I was wondering that too... wouldn't they be foolish not to? I have been imagining Leonard sleeping in W B Yeats's room , or just sitting up writing the most amazing poetry.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Sceachgeal - I got Block A (row K) tickets for Sat in the presale and I was thrilled beyond belief. Tried to book tickets this morning for friends but with no success. Gave up, then I read your message about the Sunday concert, tried again, and lo and behold, I have t...

Re: PRESALE to SLIGO on Saturday, April 24

OMG Leonard Cohen is coming to Sligo - that's only down the road from me! To see him 2 years ago in Dublin - I thought I'd died and gone to heaven - to see him last year in Belfast was an unexpected bonus - but now he's coming to Sligo!! You are all in for such a treat!!!! :D
