Re: CONCERT REPORT: Belfast, July 26

Albert
great videos, and the view looks very familiar! Were you the guy kneeling in the aisle in the front row ? (I was a couple of seats to the left)

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Belfast, July 26

Ralph McTell mentioned attending the Concert on his show last night, at it being one of the best he's ever attended. Praise indeed, since Ralph must have been to hundreds of Gigs.

Link to the show - his mention if Leonard in in the last 15 minutes http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00lvhcl

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Belfast, July 26

Obviously the previous concerts I've been to, coupled with multiple listening to the live CDs and other recording has strangled up my mind. Anyway - who's to say I didn't hear it in my own mind during the break :-)

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Belfast, July 26

A fantastic night. Walking back to the car I overheard more than one comment along the lines of 'that's the best concert I've ever been to' . Given the age profile and my guess that these comments were coming from people who last week were personally recounting their memories of the moon landings - ...

Had to get into work early for the 8am deadline, but I got FRONT ROW seats.

Fantastic! I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas now.

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast

Firstly - thanks to everyone for making the Belfast gig happen.

secondly - I'm now stressed out. I will be away from my PC for a few hours on Thursday. I'm now awaiting the time the pre-sale will happen.....and hoping.....

Re: belfast awaiits

Any idea when this will be confirmed ? If I'm away from the PC when a pre-sale happens it will be the end of the world.

Better than Dublin - easily, better than Brighton ? - it will be difficult, but we'll do it !

Re: Special Concert in New York

Sorry to see a small number of less than positive comments re the special Concert here. I've been lucky enough to see two of the concerts earlier in the year, and would love to take in the New York special event. Unfortunately I booked a holiday a few weeks ago, and this will prevent me attending - ...

Re: A Very Special Announcement Coming

I'm betting on either

1) News of Leonard taking part in a chat forum or

2) News of a special event to be broadcast over the internet for fans only

Either would be fantastic

Re: Brighton, Nov 28

I posted a review last night, but I dont see it - so here it is again. My previous Concert on this tour was the Saturday night in Dublin. The Brighton Center, although a modern multi-use venue was immediatley a lot more intimate than an outdoor arena, and (thanks to this website) we had tickets in r...

Re: Manchester 18/06/2008 *VINE* (CD Recording)

Vine 1 CDs are with me, send from Inge (thanks!). I'm going to have to work out how to make a CD copy and pass to Waxys, before continuing the vine to Mike. Normally I just rip CDs into various formats If anyone can recommend CD copy software I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'll have a look on the inte...

Re: Leonard, How about Belfast?

If anyone of influence is reading: Belfast has a number of excellent quality locations for such an event - surely what could be one of the greatest music events to be hosted in our City: Opera House - capacity 1001 http://www.arthurlloyd.co.uk/BelfastTheatres.htm Leonard would be great here, its sma...
