Re: A Very Special Announcement Coming

I think it is fair to answer this question properly. The "thing" that will be announced on Monday, will NOT require you to be online at 10 am on Monday. The announcement will include another moment (not on Monday), when those who want to make use of the "thing" in the best possi...

Re: Campaign: Get Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah in the UK charts!

Finally the recognition for dearest Leonard... I don't care whether it's the "hype" of top twenty charts or whatever,if it destroys the myth of the "prophet of doom" and gets people to listen to his words and music, rather than the "hype", I'm happy.. for LC, his future...

Re: So, who's sitting where at the Royal Albert Hall?

I'm happy just to be there amongst the forum members, thanks to Jarkko and Marie. BUT Why a £13.70 "premium" on the ticket price? I could bring a few ham sandwiches for that! Anyway, only about 73 hours to go... if you all feel the way I do I think Leonard (and his excellent band) will rem...

Re: All Youtube links

Avalanche in Milan Leonard has chosen to wear a hat upon this tour; a musician friend has told me that this is a "badge" that only the great can get away with = oh how it is deserved with LC!!!! I am intrigued as to why Leonard chose to discard this crown (of thorns?) here.... I was at the...

Re: Leonard's Birthday

Perhaps the moderators should start a new thread = happy birthday Jarkko. Anyway, happy birthday Jarkko and thank you for making all of this possible... I hope you have a great day. Going back to the subject matter - Leonard's birthday; I am sure many of Leonard's "fans" have thought how g...

Re: London, July 17 [merged threads]

Just descending to cloud nine! I was mesmerised by Leonard and his nine friends on the stage, thank you to them all. I cannot match the eloquence of the previous posts in describing this magnificent occasion. The atmosphere was electric (the love of his fans for him was palpable). Probably the most ...

Re: Worst ever LC tracks

I have to say I find it totally inconceivable that anyone could be into Leonard, but not like "Bird on the Wire"...rather like being into Dylan, but not liking that erm... "Like Rolling Stone" song! For me, "Bird" is totally central to everything that Leonard has alway...
