That reads great, Wijbe - I wish I could come but I already have booked Berlin for that weekend to see the Chris and Carla show.

We had a wonderful afternoon and evening on February 25, there where 500 Cohen fans, we first saw the movie “I’m your man” then a good diner and nice company.
In the evening we had a band that played marvellously a lot of Cohen songs. During the song Joan of Ark there was a choir of children singing together with the band, beautiful.
It is a great pity that it was the last time of the band doing the Leonard Cohen project.
Here you find some pictures of the concert.

What's with these people, anyway, Wijbe :o ? They do great performance[s] and then say, "Okay... that's it. We're done." :(

I'll second/triple/double/quadruple that, exponentially, Paula :D 8) :D ~ bar none, I might add :D

Glad you said it!!!

By the way, Sherry and I will be staying in the same waterfront/harbour hotel on Hydra as they will. Wish you and Megan would be there!

Well... you tend to do that a tad, anyway, as I recall, Wijbe  :D . So, no worries... however, you did 'cause me' [I know, I caused myself... ] to have an edited line, when I just added that Sherry and I will be staying in the same waterfront/harbour hotel on Hydra as you and Willy will... and that I wish Paula and Megan would be there!

Thanks for the Youtube links Wijbe -- looks like it was a great show!

Echo the kind thoughts about you and Willy.... and wish we could also be in Hydra.

While I have you... THANKS much for the great Berlin video!

This is another that needs to be added to my list  .

P.S. A note of worth on Paula's comments ~ she doesn't speak like that too often :D  .

I've yet to order my copy of the Berlin Event, Wijbe :( ... but I've no doubt as to its quality :D . Looking forward... :) .

Hi Wijbe ~

I eventually came through the side door to see this. It got added to my list, but then never checked off. Between things like this being blocked at work; and late nights being what they are... well, better late than never. Now, I feel really sad that they won't be playing together any more. I'm glad you and Willy and whoever else got to see this in person. I'd have loved to have been there. Thanks for bringing this to my attention... now that I've finally seen it :D .

Love,
Lizzy

I have seen some footage of this wonderful event. Is it likely to be repeated....?

John Bliemer gives a new perspective to the already great words and music, and I would love to be able to see him live.

Any info much appreciated.

Further to the above, any location is fine!
