why drive Virgin sell print your own tickets London - Manchester dirt cheap. I mean no more than £10 each way. They won't be available this far in advance but they've been doing it for over a year now.

yeah we have two tickets for Tuesday 17th June as well and were thinking of driving up from London. We live in West London so could be interested in sharing petrol cost with you. Are you staying overnight or driving back in the small hours? I also wondered about the train as I am concerned about probs getting into Manchester and parking (I used to work there and know what the congestion is like both in the city and on surrounding motorways). Do you have experience of getting into centre and parking for concerts Billy? If we went on the train, presumably concert will finish too late to get back to London so that would automatically mean staying overnight?
