Thanks for compliment Rodin:

trainspotter

A person who can successfully identify obscure music a DJ plays. A hardcore trainspotter can take it a step further and identify the source of obscure samples.

Trainspotter: "That's track B off of the first pressing of So and So record"
Friend: "You're such a trainspotter."

Seriously - A British tour is just not going to happen this year. I've resigned myself to that. I've a ticket for the O2. Or - more specifically - I paid AEG a wedge of cash several months ago and have an email confirming receipt. Not ideal, but that's how it is. If Clive's predictions are correct - they better hurry up and advertise the gigs. (SECC & Armadillo in Glasgow available all of August. ;-) Patience? Slowly waning...

Dear Jarkko

PLEASE,PLEASE can you let us all know whether we can expect anymore UK dates?
The suspense is killing us--Just a Yes or NO would be much appreciated.
We need some light at the end of this tunnel---we are all "snowed" in,and desperately need cheering up!!!
If its a definite NO--then no problem, though sad as it will be,we can at least all start booking our holidays to sunnier climates :) :)
Many.many thanks.

I don't know why the announcements are delayed, but to my best knowledge the plans have not changed, and there will be a UK tour later in the summer.
So all I can say goes back to the P-word.

Thanks for the reassurance, Jarkko.
You're caught in the middle of all this, an unenviable position.
Obviously we're still in suspense as to (if and) when, especially regarding booking holidays etc., but at least you've given us grounds for optimism.
Now it's a case of the P-word versus the F-word...frustration, that is.

We have a choice . If we can be patient and just get on with life until the big announcement we will ' suffer'( perhaps an exaggeration) less , and if we gamble on ' late summer ' we can make other plans for early and mid summer .

Jarkko says back to the P-word. But I don't have enough patience for the P-word.

Chill. Mate. Last time I looked I had a perfect pair. Never had any complaints. Innocent conversation amongst friends. Nothing More. Nothing less. So, you're not in row 3 then. That your problem?

Cheers Jarkko. Appreciate the update. Patience I can deal with. Frustration takes a wee while longer...
