I don't mean to belabor the point, but the female backing on Leonard's very first album (esp. Nancy Priddy) has always sounded quite angelic to me; & he had very angelic children's voices on his third album. I also think Jennifer Warnes' voice has a semi- angelic quality to it, though with her voice, that quality is mingled with some other, more multi-layered emotional qualities. So I don't think ageing has much to do with Leonard's penchant for angelic harmonies. I also don't equate "angelic" with "anaemic".TipperaryAnn wrote:
