The monitor's covered in post-it notes!
Those are his passwords. One of which is to this forum.
There's something that looks a lot like a joss stick angled up at the left-hand end of it.
Um...I believe that's a cable.

Ah yes, "gimme five" [twice ~ to equal 10] ~ there it sits propped up against the lower left corner of his monitor, the little tear-off calendar that his insurance company must have sent him in the mail, perhaps around the Christmas/New Year's holidays. They probably didn't think to make an exception due to his Jewish heritage.

And, did you notice, the doubling of his image? It's on twice.
As for the [ahem] ~ this is what we call "covered in"/clutter  ? ~ Leonard's workstation probably stays looking quite similar to how we're seeing it in the photo, he's so fastidious in his housekeeping.

Maybe he's quit smoking [lol ~ don't we wish!], or at least doesn't do it at his computer, or at least not when Lorca's taking pictures.

Since I have no clue what "tippex" is, I can't comment on that mystery. I may look again, though, and see if it looks like a dauber, since I do know what they look like  [and so should Paula  ].

yes, perhaps we should all take a photo of our writing desk/computer workstation, and the person with the most LC items wins. Surely you cannot be without a prayer mat, not only one as a mousepad, but also (as HE does) under the keyboard, even better one more under the screen, under the BIG-NUMBERED telephone... then: having the LC screensaver on, a handmade LCcalendar, all his books on the wall behind, some posters or framed pics of LC around, a guitar in the back,... and never forget the mirror next to your computer! well, my table would look a bit different... how many points would all of you get?

Oh dear, I don't want to take a photo ~ or even describe  ~ my surrounding  , at least not at this time. However, Leonard is well-represented [not in all the ways you've described, however :o ]. He has one under his keyboard, though!?! I must go look again!

Oh, good find, Annaedith :D ! Looking at it now, of course, I can only think, "How could I have missed it!?! :? "

My secret life is outed Lizzie. My name is Paula and I am a bingo player  It is called a dabber and that is not what Leonard has it looks like a spray on screen cleaner or something. I wonder if Leonard would come and sort out my computer desk it looks like an explosion has occured.

Tippex is that white stuff you paint over a typing mistake and a little bit of trivia here I believe the monther of Mike Nesbith of the Monkees was the original inventor.

Yes, I think you're right, Paula ~ that it's a spray. [Tee-Hee ~ if anyone knows what a dabber looks like, it's you. As a matter of fact, they're one of your triggers, aren't they  ?] One of the things we call Tippex White-Out, or the imitation version is Wite-Out. Interesting on its invention. Her son was out playing to the world, and she was at home getting rich. I've had reasons to thank her many times for her ingenuity.

It looks like Leonard has bi-focals [and is not vain about it 8) ]. And, have Leonard's eyes turned grey, or do you suppose it's just the colour of the photo. So, the photo in the upper right is where he did the editing for the one on the screen. And, I'm not sure why they're repeated twice down below.

Nice, moss-green shirt he's wearing. The material looks soft. Do you suppose he was getting ready to draw us another picture  ? It also looks like that calendar came from his podiatrist, or at least someone having to do with feet. Where's Mr. Ed to rapturize on my behalf over still another, foot reference  ?

THE NESMITH FILES
Four weird facts about the serious Monkee

* Michael's mother invented Tippex and he sold the rights for a cool $28 million in 1989
* Nesmith was nominated for a Grammy award for his last solo album.
* Michael accidentally invented the pop video when he recorded a short film for his song, "Rio". He later sold the patent for "pop clips" to Warners for a pot of cash and - viola! - MTV was born.
* Nesmith has released over thirteen solo albums, slightly more than The Monkees achieved. His most famous solo song, "Different Drum" was covered by The Lemonheads in what many consider to be their finest moment.

What kind of freak would look at that photo and find a mirror in it? (Without being prompted I mean). Who cares? Maybe he likes to trim his beard at the monitor or pick his nose. Maybe he likes to see who is behind him while he types. Maybe it is good Feng Shui?

The prayer mat mouse pad can be bought in all good (mainland) bookshops.

The kind of freak who doesn't take LC as seriously as you do...get a sense of humor about the man why don't you...I bet LC has a mirror accessible and within arms reach at all times...no matter where he is.

Hey midnight!
:D good reply!

For me it is definitely a mirror! I love thinking that it is a mirror.
Last night in my dreams it was a mirror. It must be a mirror in which we all can reflect our dreams and hopes.

Long live Leonard's mirror!

Hey midnight

I don't take LC as seriously as you think. As tehy say in the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy..."he's just a guy, you know?"

Now, back to trimming my nostril hairs

Is it my imagination or is there a picture of Sharon beside his post-it notes on his monitor?
