To notice the difference, there are now two brand new editions of Let Us Compare Mythologies. In Canada, McClelland and Stewart published completely new book in July 2006, that means new layout, picture, design and typeset, in paperback. It's also marked as 50th anniversary re-edition. It's third edition of the book in all, first M&S's was in 1966 (in series of Cohen reprintings), and first was McGill's in 1956.



Leonard's new US publisher, Ecco (i.e. Ecco Press, imprint of HarperCollins) just published the exact, facsimile reprint of the original 1956 McGill's edition. That means the original cover and drawings by Freda Guttman inside. It's hardcover.



Ecco's fascimile edition (May 2007) is available thru US and UK Amazon. M&S July 2006 edition is available thru Canadian Amazon.
