I love it when I play any LC song form a live concert on the jukebox and the rest of the patrons have become so familiar with his music that when, on the recorded version, the audience claps, that they all clap along also 8) 8)

I'm guilty of making up French words when I sing along with the Partisan such as Freezah!

I thought freezah was a French word as in 'Je putta moi ice cream dans moi freezah'.

hahahaha! Thanks Mary for posting that link,

I remember that video from Esther very well! It is still sooooo funny!! I haven't seen it for a long while (since it was first posted) and it still cracks me up!
You know, she does that in the picture game as well - transposes words. Very clever 8)

.....and I have to 'fess up and say that I'm guilty of the first and third suggestion but I definitely don't deepen my voice.

One thing I attempt to do is sing the back up singers part as well as Leonard's.
I run into trouble when they overlap singing different words to Leonard's ones because I'm trying to sing both parts at the same time!
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to B4real ~ me

Hi,

Often sing along to the songs (fun for me, maybe not for others in earshot), and have done the
"Mr. Paul Ostermeyer" announcement many times. :) (With the band member announcements
on Live In London, there's at least one place where Leonard does it that I wish he hadn't done so,
because it comes across to me as a breaking of character/mood of the song. All for recognition
of the others, just not where it was done and how it plays/remains on the recording.)

scocoh wrote:So I propose we should use this Leonard Meetup Code which will be a fun way of finding each other while not having to embarrass ourselves asking people a bunch of questions:

****************************************************

If you sense that a person or group of people might be meetup people, simply approach them and say "Mr. Paul Ostermeyer?"

If they are not meetup people they will simply say "No" or "don't know him".

If they ARE meetup people they will respond with the code: "Could German Sue be undone?"

****************************************************

(I am only half-joking. I am going to do this next time I see Esther at a show, and will try to get others to do this at all meetups  )

Although if it is a group of females (and they are very prevalent at meetups/concerts), instead of asking for "Mr. Paul Ostermeyer?", a general inquiry of "Mallory?" or "Jenny?" might be a bit more gender appropriate.

Another option, Maarten could make up 21215 name tags with lanyards. Should not be that difficult for him to do if they all read 'Mr. Paul Ostermeyer'. Then we could wear them everywhere we went.
