hello "afterbathing", I use an Edirol R-09, and stereo mics with built in condensers. Kind of lo-fi compared to what alot of tapers use. I recently switched from a sony DAT. Which I'm glad I did, its much easier to transfer shows with. Also, the Edirol is much smaller than Sony DAT, so sneaking it into shows is almost too easy. I need to find the idiots guide to torrernting so i can upload all of my shows that I've taped over the years.
Thanks, Luke

Hey Luke, I'd love to get your recording of December 11 but Megaupload sucks big time... seeding a torrent sounds like a very good idea!
Columbia May 11, 2009; Boston May 29, 2009; Durham November 3, 2009; Las Vegas December 10 & 11, 2010; Austin November 1, 2012; Boston December 15, 2012; Brooklyn December 20, 2012

Luke,

Was the LV 2009 recorded with Edirol or DAT?

PM me if you need assistance in torrenting.

Artur, for reasons unbeknownst to me, I am unable to upload to megaupload, making uploading the 2nd half of Vegas 2009 impossible to do. Do you use any other upload sites? I'm not sure if I've hit an upload limit.
Thanks, Luke

Thanks, Luke
sendspace.com
but it has a limit of 300MB per file, so you ould have to zip/rar your wave into a couple of 300MB chunks. hope it works

Hi Luke

Just a couple of suggestions re: Megaupload. These are things which have worked for me whenever I got stuck:
- create a new account or
- try using Megamanager instead of the Megatoolbar or vice-versa depending on what you've been using (this worked really well) or
- upload smaller chunks

Hope this helps!

[PS: I listened to the last Vegas, which I downloaded from Dime (thanks Artur!); it is wonderfully excellent!] :D
