Death of Lady's Man (naked)
Thank you, Docck! Of course, I’ve already download them ! It simply was my “idée-fixe”: I searched for the contents of the album and sometimes found full list of the songs but sometimes – an enigmatic inscription “Cloud Nine (bonus tracks)” with no list at all. So it wasn’t quite clear if there is one version or not. It made me mad ! Thanks for clarification!
Jurica, I know this site, for example:
http://audiofind.ru/artist.phtml?id=2575&album=4641#1
Does your computer “read” Russian fonts? The links are in Russian there.
I know one more place, it seems to me there were some other songs there, but that page is in Russian, to, and, moreover, you’ll have to register there (but that’s for free, too).
Maybe Docck knows something else.

Try this http://3mp3.ru/eng/artist/1585/Okudzhava-Bulat
There is mulilanguage support on this site. You need a small registration for download, but there're a lot of music and no bad bitrate (192)

Docck, it's so great that you put here this link for Jurica! Once I tried to register on that site but - don't know what a "glyuk" it was - they simply didn't e-mail me any code. I was persistent, since there're many things there which I didn't find anywhere else, and attempted to register with differrent logins and email addresses, but there's no result. Now I tried again and was lucky !
Okay, guys, now I don't think I'll come back soon.

Hi! jurica, docck and Helven - I regret not being able to help you.
Returning to the topic, since very well it has been said, the music belongs to Spector. Cohen was terrified by the result, but in that time he took more important problems as the deterioration of his relations with Suzanne or the death of his mother.
It’s the fewer Cohen disk and, so, probably it’s the worst. Although I like it, and much. Someone of about the forty and with conjugal experience has to understand it.
Now, I do not believe that he wants to touch that strange project. I am interested in anything that he does, but "Death of a Ladies' Man" is holy music. Nobody can touch any sound of my CD.
Regards,

The following is from David Boucher's
"Dylan & Cohen - Poets of Rock and Roll"
(-last paragraph, Ch5.
- i split it in two here.)
It's referenced to
Susan Nunziata, "The Billboard Interview,"
Billboard, November 28, 1998
(-note: "1998".
-obviously today Cohen may no longer entertain
"the possibility of working with Spector again.")
------------------------------------------------
Also of note was Cohen's collaboration with
Phil Spector on the album "Death of a Ladies' Man".
The almost unimaginable combination of Spector
and Cohen has been well documented. Spector's
obsession with guns, his heavy drinking, his
tendency to surround himself with menacing
henchmen, and his penchant to threaten musicians.
The now infamous stories of Spector holding a
gun to Cohen's neck as a sign of his unswerving
affection and his obsessive possessiveness of
the master tapes, to the extent that Cohen was
prevented from hearing the mixes before the
album was released, are now legendary. The
sound and style of Ladies' Man were in such
contrast to Cohen's previous work that it
came as a great disappointment to him.
However, with the intervention of time,
Cohen has mellowed and warmed toward the
album and has now developed a great affection
for it, even to the extent that he has
entertained the possibility of working
with Spector again. Spector, for his part,
expressed great admiration for Cohen,
and warmly cherished the honor of working
with Cohen and of sharing in the writing
and production of "Death of a Ladies' Man".

docck - If you assure me that neither should burn my CD or spoil the LP I will say that also I would like to listen another version. But I have doubts on this project.

since Leonard is not going to make that recording (i'm pretty sure of that), we could make one of our own. there are enough people on this forum who are into music, so... we could each take one song, and make new melody and, let's say, record one or two instruments. then others could download these tracks and add their favorite instrument etc.
i'm not kidding.
let's make a first virtual LC tribute band!
