... but your good wishes still mean so much ! And I've taken on the physical aspect of your screen name now. It felt wrong to me, too. I don't care how many times more Leonard tours... missing his last one of this tour just felt, as you've said, plain wrong.

!!! THANKS!!! Talk about making someone FEEL GOOD !! AND You WOKE ME UP !!! Here I was getting a little drowsy and getting ready to go to bed. So much for that . At least not in the same frame of mind! Funny how contagious enthusiasm is, eh ? Anyway, I feel so honoured and grateful by such a call [as to come] and such reactions 
[that I am]!!! If only I could be in both places with you, but you know... choices... and when it came to that one, San Jose got it hands down. I'm not much of a Vegas person, but as I said to a friend... "[even though I potentially could've paid for my trip via a slot machine]... Vegas is just not my kind of thing. Leonard will be bringing the finest kind of spirituality to its unhallowed ground."
I would've liked to have gone to Nashville and New York, but geez-oh-Pete... I do not have even this kind of money, much less that kind of money. I refuse to envision myself homeless and on the street... but if I did end up there, I'd be sure to have a placard around my neck saying "Too Many Leonard Cohen Concerts."

Of course, I feel it wouldn't be the same without me, too... but from the OPPOSITE perspective ~ ALL the people whom I've met and love being there, and my not being able to share in their joy... and Leonard's very last 2009 concert... where the energy will be so blissfully high... and my not being able to experience it with all of you! It's really humbling to see these reactions. I have to tell you, I'm kinda just blown away by it. You people have actually met me , so it means even more [and there's a history that goes with that comment 
~ me and my social anxiety/phobia do not always fare so well on that measure and you have made my struggle easier... thanks]. Believe me, I am deeply grateful that anyone is glad I'll be there with you . I'm very grateful

], which actually means getting up at about 2 AM, so I can rush out the door and get on the road for the 2-hour drive to JAX, so as to be there 2 hrs prior to flight time. because...
