And now - the next question: what does the name of this account mean?

It's like they tore away my blindfold,
and they said "we're gonna let this prisoner live."

You got me singing
Like a prisoner in a jail
Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Thanks, Roman. For the record, I didn't do the "Ctrl+F" thing to find the word; it just suddenly came to me, what those letters stood for. (Actually, when I tried to do the Ctrl+F thing afterwards, it didn't work).
Next question: There is a lyric which suggests that, within our physicality (or a function of our physicality), can be seen an image which represents an eternal truth of the universe.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
To be more specific: The image lies concealed behind curtains of skin, & the eternal truth it represents is of a recurring, cyclical nature.
Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi holydove,
There's an arguably eternal truth expressed in the lines of "Anthem" that read:
Ah the wars they will
be fought again
The holy dove
She will be caught again
bought and sold again
the dove is never free.
The heart is concealed between layers ("curtains") of skin and it has its place in "Anthem":
Every heart, every heart
to love will come
but like a refugee.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi Steven,
There is certainly eternal truth in Anthem & everything you said is true. But I'm thinking of something else. In the lyric I'm referring to, the narrator is compelled to move the "curtain" aside in order to see this ancient symbol which represents a universal truth. There is also an element of self-destruction in the image that he sees behind the "curtain".

Hi,
Someone in a song is, non-metaphorically speaking, "six feet under." Who will identify the song?

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hey Steven, are there any rules (maybe not ) to this L.C. Song Hunt?
Do you have to earn your turn to post a question by guessing the answer correctly?
Or can it be anyone who is first to post after someone else has answered the question successfully?
Is it on all occasions that a line or lines from a song and its title is asked for?
Could the individual who is posting the question vary this if they clearly explain the different situation?
It doesn’t matter to me who does what, when and how, just wanting some clarification.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi B4real,
Hadn't contemplated any rules.
I'm with you in that it doesn't matter "who does what, when and how," in regards to the thread protocol
questions you asked. Of course, there's a possibility of concurrent song hunt questions leading to
confusion. May change my mind in the future should there be too much confusion or if other problems
come into play. Thanks for asking.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi,
Here is a clue for the "six foot under" question: A song character is buried in a cemetery.
This character is a close relative of the song's protagonist.

After much lurking and thinking and struggling, I've come to the conclusion that I am not smart enough for this game!
But I soooo want to play, because I soooo miss the Picture Game!
Anyway, here is my attempt:

Why Don't You Try

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Yes, you are clever Esther! I miss the PG very much too – and I miss your images and talking to you about them
Steven, I’ll try these lines:
Where I knew she lay waiting
Under the marble and the snow
I said, Mother I’m frightened
~Night Comes On
