Herman van Veen: 2 songs x 3 languages = 9 covers (or more?)

Post by Goldin »

As Jarkko once mentioned, Herman van Veen (LCFiles page) is one of probably two artists who have covered Leonard Cohen songs in three different languages. Just to say more, he's sung about one lady (guess her name) in three languages.

Here're some additions to the info published at the LCFiles. Please note, I don't have all the recordings, so the picture may be incomplete:
Herman van Veen 2 (1969)
Carre I Amsterdam (1971)
Alles (1971)
Suzanne (1973)
10 jaar Herman van Veen (1976)
Het een en ander (1985)
Weet je nog (1984)
In vogelvlucht (1987)
You take my breath away (1992)
Nu en dan - 4cd box (1998)
Nu en dan (1998)
