The author of this most interesting and useful diary is Leif Bodnarchuk, the guitar technician and boffin.

The author of the diary wrote yesterday:
In the tour itinerary, under the personnel list, I am jobbed as a guitar technician and ‘boffin.’ At first, I was unsure how to receive that, but after looking up the word, I was happy with the title, and its etymology.

Such an absorbing "behind the scenes" observation of the tour. The real world revealed of life on the road on a day to day basis.

....... I wonder if they need any extra help ..... I'm not a luthier but I can tune a violin :)

Thanks MEB - really enjoying this.
Delighted to see that a vegetarian/vegan diet is catered for on tour! (They are wise to have their own caterers :) )

Thank you for the link - very interesting! So personal & imaginative, as well as informative & insightful.

I'm glad he said he had to look up the meaning of "boffin", because that's what I'm going to do now too. . .(never heard that word before!).

Well, I'm glad I got into this diary early on, so I don't have to do a lot to catch up.
It's fun, as well as interesting, reading.
