John Bilezikjian in Long Beach last Mon

A friend of mine who does Middle Eastern dance went to a holiday show/Christmas party this past Monday and John Bilezikjian and his wife Helen were there. He played at least a little bit for all but one of the dancers, and sang for quite a few of them. Here they are: John and Helen Bilezikjian and Marguerite Kusuhara.

I was privileged to hear John Bilezikjian play last Friday night, in Fontana, CA, for a showcase of belly dancing. He played for about an hour, alternating between playing for dancers (including my friend Marguerite, above) and playing and singing without dancers. His wife accompanied him on some of them. I'm so glad I went.
