The actual song video is b/w and the episodes you mention are not included. However, Dominique Isserman (or somebody else) shot also some kind of documentary about "Making of the FWTM video", and you probably have seen it. It has been aired at least here in Europe in late 1980's because somebody sent me a tape copy.

I have on tape something called "First We Take Manhattan Europe 1988 TV Clip", I believe from some German or Scandinavian TV, and it shows Leonard with those 2 women you described, brummebrumm. Leonard is sitting in a TV studio, behind a desk, with the song on the soundtrack, singing, and the 2 women are acting back up vocals. It looks like a video, actually, like a cheap alternate promo video, and I believe it is not directed by Dominique Issermann, is pretty cheap and simple, but probably made during European promotional press tour in early 1988, before the tour.

The clip you described is not the genuine song video but a
local "Live" version of the song for certain TV shows. I have several
such performances in my archive - from Spain, Denmark, Sweden
if I remember correctly. These are playback versions and
some look quite awful. Leonard looks more or less embarrased
between the ladies who pretend to sing and who really cannot be compared with Perla and Julie!!!

Exactly that, Jarkko. He seems to be embarassed. The original Issermann's video is one of best musical clips ever done!
