I was there tonight and I thought it was really memorable, came a long way for it but it was worth it to me, and I nabbed a set list too which I will treasure.
Will be interested to see what others post on it.
I thought the atmosphere was very unique, audience a mix of muted and wildly enthusiastic at the same time. There was really spontaneous ovations all the way through endlessly.
Setlist was standard, Mr Cohen was smiling an awful lot throughout and there was a fair bit of larking about I think going on there on the stage, but very serious renditions of a number of the songs, like Hallelujah and Chelsea Hotel and everyone seemed to be in top form to me.
Notable moment was the lady who got right up on the stage at the end of part one, as there are steps at the front and gave him a bit of a hug as I recall, he was smiling away but I don't think Joey or security were at all amused.
And then as reported, Forum members were singing Passing Through in the latter part of the interval and when he came back on so he just sung a few words of it before going into Tower of Song.
And it was very nice at the end when a lot of the crew came onto the stage in a long line, as in Joey's photos.
It started late, about 8.15 I think and ended about 12.15. No references to the unmagical Las Vegas on night two. Of course there were various references to the end of the tour and a chapter ending.
All the best to everyone on the Forum, thanks to Jarkko for putting up all the pre-sale information so a new fan like me has been able to get some wonderful seats, expecially this year.
P.S there are 4 mp3 for Dec 10th concert here at
