I went out and found a copy of the newspaper, tried to scan the article but it was difficult to read because of the coloured background so I have typed it out below. Apologies for any typos. Evie B
That was most generous and kind of you, Evie B. Thank you. It is a very interesting article.

Here are some pics from my terrible camera phone. I have learnt my lesson, it will definitely be a proper camera next time.

I was told that there was an article in the Guardian today, a review of the Weybridge concert. I have not seen it yet as news agent round the corner ran out of Guardians BUT a good friend of mine will give me the article at some point this week.

tennimo - great pictures.

hershey - I have a couple of lovely ones of the Webbs, taken by my husband (while I was busy swooning at Leonard, his gaze understandably turned in their direction), but can't upload them as apparently the file is too big? anyone know how to make it smaller or something?

thanks all for this thread. I just keep coming back to it. :D

With a lot of help from Evie B, here are the Webb Sisters (they have now come out very small, sorry):

Mistake, and a slick recovery, happens after about 5:00 here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyAi6Vu8mhs
Leonard loses track of the fast chorus (missed you since our place got wrecked/gates of love they budged an inch/etc) and seems to think it's pretty darn funny, as does Rafael Gayol. LC calls "where are we?" (I think) to the singers and I LOVE the way he gets back into it. What a pro. 8) I didn't even notice this the first time I watched it.

At home feeling awful with what I hope isn't swine flu - just watched that clip & realised I'm grinning from ear to ear.

Thanks for posting it, and thanks to Sir Len for the creative content. :D

EmilyB - glad you got the pics of The Webb Sisters sorted, they are really great.

Mnkyface - I had noticed the muddle Leonard got into with the recaps in 'Closing Time' and I giggle each time I watch it, it was all part of the fun on the night, he didn't seem too worried whereas in the past he would have been stressed by it. Something else I noticed was that he knelt for us at the end of the song, and he stayed down for some time. I don't know if he has done that much before, I took it to mean he was pleased we had all stayed with him through the monsoon. He has knelt for his lovers in the past in his songs, I think we were all his lovers that night and I like to think that was what he was expressing. ;-)

On 'Live in London' he made a bit of a booboo in Bird on a Wire when he started with 'I thought a liar..' (quickly recovered, singing) 'I thought a lover had to be some kind of liar too'. Seamless.

Esther - What a good eye! This even got mostly stoic Bob Metzger to laugh. Love these unscripted moments!
