I opened the Wellington Dominion Post this morning and saw the headline "Hallelujah, Cohen's coming to NZ".

Was about to post the news, but Jarkko beat me to the punch.

Awesome!

My latest information suggests that The Triffids and Blackeyed Susans will be providing added support on some of those Australian dates. That's what's known as poetry in motion, you lucky southern hemisphericals!

If, having seen Lenny in concert seven times in the UK this year (two of them in the same week as seeing the Bad Seeds twice), someone said to me "Now top that!" this sort of unimaginably unlikely double bill would be the only thing that gets any better and enters the realms of fantasy. Grrr... ;-)

Just a heads up, tickets are already on sale (at least for some shows/some sections) for A Day On The Green members.

I just managed to get a ticket to Centennial Vineyards in Bowral (Feb 1) via ticketmaster.com.au

What you need to do:
1. Become a member of A Day on the Green
2. Wait for an email with your secret passcode
3. rush off to Ticketmaster.com.au !

Not sure if all types of tickets are available at the moment, mine was general admission (no assigned seating).

I am shocked and amazed and I don't know what made LC agree to come to the Swan Valley in Perth but I am thrilled beyond belief and pray I can get the tickets I need for myself and partner. :D

Christ alive, Cohen is unbelievable!

I cannot believe this 74 year old man is able to pull off a tour this large! I see Im underestimating my idol.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm to tour Leonard. Whatever your initial reasons may have been, hes doing massive favour to all of us!

I can relate to this, I just bought 2 Sydney tickets AND 2 "a day on the green" tickets, feeling pretty happy, but also fearing the credit card bill, but oh well, will just have to work harder in the coming months!
