Yes, I've heard that the french president and his wife were there the 26th !

And the prime minister was there on the 25th.

goodnight, patyou

wednesday, 26, they came to see mr cohen : the left upper cameraman, i thought it was, caught her on tape, that's for sure ; if he could see him, beside her, i'm not sure, and even less sure that he was intersted, but anyway, it's a good thing for la douce france, that they came to participate in this magic night ; and , like the rest of the audience, they must have behaved in the best way possible : clapping their hands just long enough, maybe somethimes softly starting to sing along, just a few words, and than giving back the songs to the ones on stage : a really perfect bunch of respectfull fans ; it still warms my heart. so, goodnight,
pe swijngedouw

I just stumbled onto a terrific youtube video uploaded by MrVintage31 on May 25, 2011
It only had 6 views when I found it tonight.

Paris Olympia, Nov 24, 2008
*Tower of Song*

http://youtu.be/w23OGcHEpAY

LC's outra, "Don't stop..." with the backup singers is hilarious. He spun it out for a long time even mentioning the financial crisis.

---Arlene

EDIT: just noticed MrVintage31 uploaded more from that concert and all have very few views

*Suzanne* http://youtu.be/GATqOscOaiA
*Hallelujah* http://youtu.be/j8EMP4c561s
*Chelsea Hotel* http://youtu.be/oHSTZjZH8Dk
*Anthem* http://youtu.be/W-S2gCLsiek
*The Partisan* http://youtu.be/k2dXHkMNNSk
*Everybody Knows* http://youtu.be/n6PaOXLv7gc

EDIT 2: I had a feeling this "new" treasure trove looked suspicious. Sure enough, these videos were uploaded originally by TheOlive31.

The videos were subsequently terminated by Youtube. So watch these while you can, I suppose.

This is one of those main reasons that these concert threads should not be locked.

Too funny, in the Tower of Song.

Thank you for finding these Arlene!

Best regards,
Mary
